The region and its towns
Thanks to their different characters, the four towns of Münstertal, Staufen, Ballrechten-Dottingen and Ehrenkirchen offer an interesting variety of nature, culture and wines.
Münstertal is an unmatched hiking paradise – the scenery of the Black Forest at its best. Staufen is especially known for its picturesque old town with its romantic Bächle, the little alleys and the castle ruins – setting for big and small cultural events the whole year around. Wine connoisseurs should visit Ballrechten-Dottingen. A variety of outstanding wines are produced here.
