Visitor’s Tax

The spa tax is charged all-season in all places. It is charged according to the communal-charges-act of the county Baden-Württemberg for the facilities for purposes of cure and convalescence as well as for the free usage of the short-range public transportation (see also KONUS on the right). With the spa tax one can finance for instance the maintenance of the hiking trails, cultural events and landscape conservancy.

By paying the spa tax and filling out the register certificate you are entitled to the KONUS-guest card, which is valid as a ticket for the short-range public transportation in the whole Black Forest. (e.g. to Basel, Freiburg and so on).

The spa tax accounts per person and day in:

Münstertal: for 1,70 EUR

Staufen: for 1,50 EUR

Ballrechten-Dottingen 0,80 EUR

Ehrenkirchen 0,70 EUR

Bollschweil - St. Ulrich 0,70 EUR

Children and Young Persons younger than 17 years are free.

Severely disabled people with an ID are free with a disability of 100% (including the accompanying person with a official certificate).
